The Pause Apps · CleanPic

Privacy Policy

How the iPhone app handles your information.

This policy applies to the CleanPic iPhone app published by hongliang xiong.

Photos access and local processing

With your permission, CleanPic reads the photos and videos you make available through iOS to find duplicate, similar, and cleanup candidates. Scanning and visual comparison run on your iPhone. The app does not upload your media, library identifiers, or scan results to our servers. You may grant limited access or change access in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

Changes to your library

CleanPic does not delete items automatically. Only after you review a selection and confirm does it ask Apple Photos to remove those items. Photos normally places them in Recently Deleted. If you use iCloud Photos, changes to your library may sync under your Apple settings; that sync is handled by Apple, not CleanPic.

Purchases and information we receive

CleanPic does not require an account and contains no advertising or analytics SDK. Optional Pro purchases and entitlement checks use Apple StoreKit. Apple handles payment information; we do not receive your payment card details through the app. Recent cleanup information is stored on your device. We do not sell app data or share your media with advertisers.

Support messages, retention, and choices

If you email us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and retain correspondence only while needed for support or applicable obligations. To request deletion of support correspondence, email xionghongliang1@gmail.com. You can revoke Photos permission in iOS Settings. Removing the app removes its local app data, but does not remove your Photos library.

Updates and contact

We will update this policy if our practices change. For privacy questions, contact xionghongliang1@gmail.com.
